Who runs this site
neubau.cz is run by Tomáš Jelínek, a private individual in the Czech Republic, who is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: info@neubau.cz.
The site tracks new-build homes as their developers list them on their own websites. That data is about projects and units, not about people.
Every visitor
When your browser loads a page, the server sees your IP address, the address you asked for and your browser's identification string. The hosting provider's router writes these to a log, which we keep for at most 7 days to run the site, find faults and block abuse (for example repeated login attempts). Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a working, secure site (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
The site sets one cookie, a session cookie that keeps you logged in and remembers the last city you looked at. It is needed for the site to work, so it is set without asking. There are no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
Pages also load fonts from Google Fonts, the Leaflet map library from unpkg.com and, on maps, map tiles from CARTO, OpenStreetMap and Esri. Your browser fetches these directly, so those providers see your IP address.
Account holders
Accounts are by invitation. For an account we store your email address, your password (only as a salted hash, never in readable form), your access level and its expiry, and when the account was created and last used. We use them only to let you log in. Legal basis: providing the service you asked for (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). We keep them while the account exists and delete them within 30 days of a request to info@neubau.cz.
If you write to us, we keep your message and address as long as we need them to deal with it.
Who else handles the data
We sell or share personal data with no one. These providers process it on our behalf:
- Heroku (Salesforce, Inc.): hosts the site and its database, in the EU region.
- Papertrail (SolarWinds): stores the server logs described above.
- Our email provider, for messages to info@neubau.cz.
Salesforce and SolarWinds are US companies, so data may reach the United States. Those transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses in these providers' data processing terms.
Your rights
You may ask for access to your data, its correction or deletion, a restriction of its use, a copy in a portable form, and you may object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Write to info@neubau.cz. You may also complain to the Czech data protection authority, the Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Praha 7). No decisions about you are made automatically.
